Expert-Led Technology and Innovation Tour with ViVi Chang

Meet WildTaiwan tech and innovation expert ViVi Chang at a trendy cafe in Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, dubbed the “Creative Hub of Taipei” by the local government, this artistic park was created in 2011 as a place to “nurture creative talents and energy”. ViVi will share the latest trends in Taiwan’s TMT, New Retail, Education, and Metaverse sectors while sharing her insights on how these industries are evolving both in Taiwan and globally. Exit the cafe and embark on a stroll through the greater Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, a city-center hub for art exhibitions, design shows, and fashion events. Along the way, Vivi will point out some of the innovative startups and creative projects that are based in the park, and share her thoughts on the potential of these ventures. Then, on to the Taiwan Design Museum, where Vivi will present her favorite exhibits, explaining how Taiwanese design has been influenced by local culture and international trends.

Drive: Taipei to Hsinchu

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Visit

Take a voyage of inspiration at the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. The on-site Museum of Innovation awakens the mind with a wander through the main three exhibition galleries. Begin in ‘A World of Innovation’, before moving on to ‘Unleashing Innovation’, and to finish, learn about the mind behind it all in the ‘Dr. Morris Chang, TSMC Founder’ gallery. Experience the innovation in everyday life in this behind-the-scenes encounter and forever perceive modern life with a new fascination.

Hsinchu City God Temple

Saunter through the praying crowds and fragrant clouds of Hsinchu’s most storied site, where locals have for centuries beseeched the gods with hopes of love, fate and fortune. This is the most senior of Taiwan’s temples to the City God, a pivotal figure within the syncretic pantheon of Chinese folk religion said to watch over the city and all its inhabitants. The temple’s many halls are all sublime, as is the traditional fare – think Taiwanese meatballs and Hsinchu fried rice noodles – served at stalls right outside.

Drive: Hsinchu to Taipei

The ride from Hsinchu back to Taipei will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
